Jazz violinist Mike Piggott is playing at Dorset County Museum in Dorchester tomorrow.
This is the latest in a line of jazz duets hosted by pianist Mike Denham at the venue.
Mike Piggott is acclaimed for playing violin in the Hot Club of Paris style made famous by Stephane Grappelli.
He has worked with a number of well-known musicians including Ralph McTell, Bert Jansch, Pentangle (replacing John Renbourn), Keith Nichols’ Ragtime Orchestra, the Kimbara Brothers, Martin Taylor, Big Jim Sullivan, Diz Disley, John Etheridge, Gary Potter, Digby Fairweather, Bucky Pizzarelli, Marty Grosz and Ken Peplowski.
For five years he has been the jazz/rock violin/guitar tutor at the Dartington International Summer School.
Bookings must be made in advance and a pre-show dinner is available.
