INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed roots warriors Wille and the Bandits bring their latest UK tour to Dorchester tomorrow while raising money for South West England flood victims.

Blues, roots and rock, all performed for a good cause, will be at Dorchester Arts Centre from 8pm tomorrow.

Wille and the Bandits were voted number six in the top ten ‘must see’ bands at Glastonbury Festival this year by BBC Radio 1 and praised by the likes of rock legends like Ian Paice, Joe Bonamassa and Francis Rossi of Status Quo.

Their last single ‘Trouble Down the Line’ was released to raise money for flood victims in the South West of England.

As the campaign continues into October, the band hopes to have raised a significant amount of money for a good cause.

The band is renowned for creating an astonishingly huge sound for a trio, incorporating hypnotic grooves from world music to heavy rock.

Throughout their set the band may use wailing guitars and vocals and big drum sounds for heavier numbers and subtler instruments such as double bass, ethnic percussion and various slide guitars for mellower subtleties.

With the versatility of Wille’s lap steel, the rhythmic diversity of percussionist Andrew Naumann and the sonic range of Matt Brooks’ six string electric bass, they always keep audiences guessing.
