A CONCERT with a watery theme is due to take place next month in Dorchester which features some familiar faces from the Quangle Wangle singers as well as other local guest performers.
Sing for Water Concert will take place at St George’s Church Hall in Fordington on Saturday, October 4 and the proceeds from the evening will be donated to WaterAid, a charity that works to bring clean water to some of the world’s poorest communities.
The lively musical show will include the harmony singing groups, Bagatelle and Wild Thyme as well as Lizzie and Prita, all of them members of the Weymouth based Quangle Wangle choir.
The concert is free but a suggested donation of £5 for each guest will be very welcome. The concert starts at 7pm and there is adequate car parking at the venue.
