BRIDPORT: Don’t miss your chance to hear one of Britain’s great orchestras right on your doorstep on Friday.
Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra will be in Bridport to celebrate the arts centre’s 40th anniversary season. The concert will feature some of the best melodies in classical music.
Two major works by Mendelssohn – his riveting Violin Concerto and the wonderfully sunny Italian Symphony – are accompanied by Elgar’s beautiful symphonic poem for strings and Fauré’s lyrical Pavane.
This event has been kindly supported by Clare Glazebrook, Alan Williams, Dukes auctioneers and The Bull Hotel. The show will last approximately two hours with a 20 minute interval.
The show is on Friday, September 26 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £35 from bridport-arts.com or by calling 01308 424204.
