THERE is less than a month to go to grab a FEAST in Weymouth.

So far, the eight week dining promotion across Weymouth, Portland and Portesham has delivered some incredible menus and has been attracting scores of diners.

FEAST kicked off on October 1 with FEASTival in Hope Square, a showcase of the town's best chefs and food producers.

Venues then opened their doors to FEASTERS and began serving their FEAST menus, special discounted menus to attract diners in the quieter winter months.

FEAST Weymouth, which is entirely supported by Weymouth BID and is promoted through the visitor website weareweymouth.co.uk is now in its fourth year and has seen an increase of participating venues outside of the BID levy area for 2017.

Weymouth fish and chip shop Fish 'n' Fritz is taking part in the promotion.

Owner Paul Hay said: “Feast has been a great success this year, already we have doubled what we did last year and we are seeing lots of new faces for the first time!”

Giuseppe Vannucci, owner and head chef of Al Molo, said: “We're really impressed with the response Al Molo has had this year. Within a couple of days of launching our Feast menu, we had a fantastic review on TripAdvisor about it.”

Shalim Abdul, owner of Shalim's Balti House, said: “This has been another fantastic year at Shalim's Balti House, with the £15 Feast, so popular this year and so many new people coming in.”

Organisers have been thrilled with the response so far. FEAST Weymouth’s Facebook page has enjoyed many new fans over the past month. With fantastic competitions running and stunning photos and reviews from Dorset Foodie Family.

The page has reached nearly 33,000 people and has gained just under 350 new fans in the last 28 days. On the website, FEAST related content has received more than 12,100 page views. The menus page has had more than 6,600 page views

The success of the 2017 event has also been aided by John Grindle aka the Dorset Foodie Family. Venues had the chance to welcome John and his camera to sample their FEAST menus and John shared his experience of the dishes he tried which can all be found here.

Each venue will have their own terms and conditions so diners are encouraged to call ahead and book.
