CHEESE, chocolate and copious amounts of wine – it’s the ultimate delicious indulgence, and not just for Bridget Jones.

For Dorset Food Fortnight, Furleigh Estate and Dorset chocolatiers Chococo have come together for one night only.

The Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Pairing at Furleigh’s vineyard on November 3 will be led by wine educator Rebecca Mitchell, whose 20 years of expertise will bring exciting new tasting discoveries.

Organisers said if you don’t think chocolate and cheese pairs well with white wine, then think again.

Cheddars and soft cheeses, and interesting chocolate treats will be matched with the wines.

Furleigh Estate produces eight different wines. The Sparkling Rose recently won a medal at the prestigious International Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships.

Award-winning artisan chocolatier Chococo was established in Swanage in 2002 by Claire and Andy Burnet who are passionate about making truly fresh chocolates with fine origin chocolate and locally sourced ingredients.

Fourteen years later, they are still making their creations by hand and have won over 60 fine food awards and have three Chocolate Houses in Swanage, Winchester and Exeter.

Dorset Food Fortnight runs from October 22 until November 6.
