THE GARDEN Kitchen Restaurant near Owermoigne has relaunched just in time for summer.

The Garden Kitchen restaurant, part of the Galton Garden Centre, has been refurbished and features a brand new menu offering culinary creations sourced locally in the UK and in-season veg.

Guests can look forward to classic British dishes with a tasty twist, such as fish and chips with a beer batter made using locally-brewed beers.

Dishes also include roast carvery sandwiches, home-made soups and seasonally-inspired recipes.

The restaurant offers guests ethically-sourced coffee which uses beans that are triple certified by the Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade and Organic.

Rob Paull, garden centre manager at the Galton Garden Centre, said: “The Garden Kitchen Restaurant is a wonderful addition for us at our centre.

“As a garden centre, we have the utmost respect for freshly-grown ingredients, and our new menu and new-look restaurant is a natural development for Wyevale Garden Centres, giving us the opportunity to celebrate our link with the garden and nature and share that with our customers.

"We know that they are always looking for fresh food cooked with great British ingredients.”
