HAPPY campers will get to sample foods from right across the country- without having to step foot outside the county.
Camp Bestival’s Feast Collective has added more renowned food names to its line-up.
As reported in the Echo, the collective is a handpicked group of street vendors, chefs and ‘creative food makers’ brought together for the festival. Now, Dalston-based restaurant White Rabbit and Cardiff’s Milgi Lounge are two of the latest to sign up to the concept, new to this year’s festival.
The collective will also feature Josie da Bank’s Jam Jar Bar – a boutique liquor lounge in a refurbished 60s Roma caravan.
Josie da Bank says: “They say that food is the new rock’n’roll. Well, if it is the new rock’n’roll then our foodie alliance, The Feast Collective, is shaping up to be the world’s greatest rock-food supergroup, with stellar street slingers like Dorshi and Korrito, carnivorous indie kids like Baby G’s Bhangra Burgers and Smokestak, and acclaimed restaurants like White Rabbit and Milgi singing the top notes. Anthemic taste sensations.”
