SIX times world snooker champion Steve Davis paid tribute to a Bridport double glazing company - for chalking up their seventh top award.

Heavers is one of only three companies in the UK to achieve such a record run in the annual customer satisfaction awards organised by VEKA - the window installers' organisation network.

Their win was calculated after Network VEKA collated the customer satisfaction returns of nearly 16,000 households across Britain and Ireland - every single customer of every member company for the year.

The snooker champ told them: "This organisation is built on the standards it sets for all its members so to be top member in the South West is something really special."
