AUDRI FENNER Peacefully, after a short illness, aged 94 years. Beloved Wife of the late Colonel David Fenner. Mother to Amanda & Melanie. Grandmother to Claire, Peter & Amelia. Great Grandmother to Joseph & Thomas. Funeral Service will take place at St. Peter & St. Paul’s Church, Uplyme on Thursday 29th May at 12 noon. Family flowers only please. This started as a search for my old friend and 'colleague' Mandy, from our youth of nearly 47 years ago, in Middlesbrough. I was therefore much saddened to come upon this obituary, plus a further press-article relating the subsequently shocking burglary of her deceased mother's home. I now see that Mandy has become 'Amanda', just as myself once a 'Chris', has now become Christopher.
