MARTIN - Iris and family would like to thank everybody who attended Charles' funeral on the 17th October. Also for all the cards and messages of sympathy received, and for the donations received for Christian Aid which are still being accepted by A.J. Wakely & Sons, 7 North Street, Beaminster. COLBY - Edith Philippa Nowell "Philippa". Much loved wife of the late Horace, mother of Richard, mother in law to Clare and Granny Pip of Rachel and Hannah. Died, peacefully on 22nd October 2005 after a long illness. Funeral at St Candida & Holy Cross Church, Whitchurch Canonicorum on Monday 31st October at 12.30pm. Flowers may be sent or donations given for the Church c/o A.J. Wakely & Sons, 91 East Street, Bridport.

CLARK - Jean died on 15th October aged 78 years in Warrington. A Service of Thanksgiving and Interment of Ashes will take place at Uplyme Church on Friday 4th November at 12 o'clock. Family flowers only but donations to RNLI - Lyme Regis may be given at the service or sent to C. Clark, 3 Tudbold Cottages, Church Street, Lyme Regis.

SUE WEST Symon, Christine and Richard, Caroline and Connor, Jill and Eric, Rosa and Ian, would like to thank the many relatives and friends who supported us at the celebration of Sue's life; also, for the letters, cards, flowers and telephone calls, which were so comforting. Also thank you to the Rev. Nigel Tooth, for his inspirational service; Dr Bowditch and everyone at the Preston Road Surgery, who cared for Sue over many years; Dr Cove and Dr Macklin at Dorchester County Hospital; Lisa Clarke and all the staff of Hinton Ward, DCH for their wonderful care; Greenwood Unit (DCC); Lupus Unit, St Thomas Hospital; Dorset Ambulance Service; Paul Gawler and his team at Woods Funeral Service, Dorchester; Cricket and John of the Lugger Inn, who enabled all the family and friends to get together after the service. Please accept this as our very heartfelt thank you.

MILLER - Charles (Charl). Passed away peacefully at Dorset County Hospital on 22nd October 2005 aged 67 years. Much loved partner to Joyce. Will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral service will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Swyre on Wednesday 2nd November at 12.00noon. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired to Cancer Research UK c/o A.J. Wakely & Sons, 91 East Street, Bridport.
